
Apoorv Prasad is a seasoned Engineer-Planner with a Bachelor of Technology degree in Civil Engineering from NIT Uttarakhand and a Master of Planning (Urban Planning) degree from MNIT Jaipur. Currently serving as the Chief Technical Officer at Indian Development Center, he is dedicated to improving sanitation and hygiene in India.
Apoorv has been instrumental in the successful implementation of Swachh Bharat Mission-Grameen 2.0 in Uttar Pradesh. His expertise in capacity building has led to numerous training programs for various stakeholders, including government officials and frontline workers, on topics such as ODF Plus, Solid Liquid Waste Management (SLWM), and Swachh Survekshan.
Under his leadership, IDC has achieved significant milestones, including the development of a state-of-the-art SLWM Training and Demonstration Center in Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh. This facility serves as a model for sustainable sanitation practices.
Apoorv’s contributions extend beyond field implementation. He has played a key role in shaping policies and strategies for sanitation and waste management at the state level, ensuring alignment with national guidelines. Additionally, he has spearheaded the development of innovative digital tools to enhance monitoring, evaluation, and decision-making processes.
With his passion for creating a cleaner and healthier India, Apoorv continues to drive positive change through his work at IDC.

Rupam Biswas is a Civil Engineer – Structural with an experienced in working with the State Government and Urban Local Bodies of Uttar Pradesh, supporting Central missions in the State. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and Master’s degree in Structural Engineering from National Institute of Technology Meghalaya and currently he serves as a Technical Officer at Indian Development Center (IDC).
He is currently working as an instructor for delivering capacity building trainings, to first of its kind Demonstration of prototype and live models of technical options for Solid and Liquid Waste Management at Indian Development Center Rural training campus, Gram Azamabad, Block Khurja. District Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh for District Panchayati Raj Officers, District Managers, and Gram Pradhan of all seventy-five districts of the state of Uttar Pradesh. He also provides technical expertise for different construction related works, preparing DPRs, billing and quantification etc.

Hirendra Tiwari is a Civil Engineer with over 7 years of professional experience, primarily focused on the Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) sector. He holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree in Civil Engineering from Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University (CSVTU), Chhattisgarh.
Hirendra is associated with the Indian Development Center (IDC) as a Technical Officer, where he plays a vital role in providing strategic technical assistance to the Panchayati Raj Department (PRD), Government of Uttar Pradesh under the Swachh Bharat Mission (Gramin) Phase II [SBM(G)-2]. His responsibilities include capacity building of stakeholders at multiple levels, technical handholding of implementing agencies, promoting behavioural change communication (BCC), and ensuring quality assurance in infrastructure and service delivery. His expertise spans technical planning, implementation support, monitoring, and evaluation of sanitation and hygiene projects, particularly in rural and semi-urban settings.

Jugal is a skilled professional with a diploma in mechanical engineering. His extensive experience in rural areas has equipped him with a deep understanding of organic farming practices and sustainable waste management techniques. As a strong communicator and people person, Jugal excels in community engagement and outreach.
In his role as a Cluster Coordinator (Field) at IDC, Jugal is responsible for implementing information, education, and communication campaigns. He also oversees logistics and catering services for the organization.

Sachin Kumar serves as a Supervisor at IDC, where he oversees crucial waste management operations, including door-to-door collection and vermi-composting processes. He meticulously maintains daily records of compost production and sales, ensuring transparency and accountability. Leveraging his deep-rooted understanding of rural communities, Sachin actively contributes to field operations. His expertise in organic gardening and farming practices further enriches his role. Additionally, he is responsible for maintaining a clean and well-organized training center.

Abhay Bhatnagar brings a wealth of experience (15 years) in accounting and finance to his role as Accounts and Admin Officer at the Indian Development Center. He holds a unique combination of qualifications, including a B. Com, MBA (Finance), M. Com and LLB. This diverse background equips him with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, allowing him to effectively manage assets and human resources.
